Zhengshan Bingdao Raw Pu-erh – Ice Sugar Sweetness from Mengku Highlands
This 2019 vintage raw Pu-erh was produced under the supervision of Mr. Qiu Shunchang for the Cha Yu Hao brand. It originates from Bingdao, an ancient Dai minority village located at 1,750 meters in Mengku, Lincang, Yunnan. The tea trees are large-leaf arbor varietals (Mengku Daye Qiaomu) officially recognized as a national-level tea breed since 1984.
Key Features:
- Sweet & Fresh: Smooth, crisp, and refreshing with a bright honey-like sweetness. The "rock sugar" (bing tang) sweetness lingers deeply after swallowing.
- Complex Fragrance: Elegant layers of orchid, floral nectar, honey, and rock sugar aroma, typical of Bingdao raw Pu-erh.
- Balanced Structure: A highly coordinated tea with richness in body, clarity in taste, and refined aftertaste.
- Excellent Aging Potential: Over time, the tea transforms into a full-bodied, soft, and sweet brew with pronounced huigan and cha qi.
Brew using 5–7g in a gaiwan or Yixing teapot with boiling water. Perfect for tea drinkers who appreciate high mountain raw Pu-erh with cooling sweetness and complex aroma.
