Bai Rui Xiang, or “Fragrant Auspice,” is a rare, aromatic Wuyi Rock Tea cultivar with over a century of cultivation history. Harvested in late April and handcrafted with traditional methods, this tea has been preserved by Cha Zhi Ji since 1999 to honor its distinct varietal fragrance and heritage.
🌿 Aroma & Taste
The dry leaves emit a rich, herbal-floral scent that is both elegant and lingering. Upon brewing, it reveals a graceful orchid fragrance, with a delicate sweetness that lingers on the tongue. The tea is smooth, pure, and sweet, with strong huigan (returning sweetness) and a cooling sensation under the tongue.
🍵 Rock Rhyme & Body
Its liquor is clear and refined, expressing strong rock charm (yan yun) and deep throat resonance. Bai Rui Xiang is roasted using a medium roast, which balances the floral clarity and the body of the tea. It leaves a clean, fragrant finish that endures well through multiple infusions.
