Wu Liang Ancient Tree Raw Pu-erh (2008) – Deeply Aged, Pure, and Energizing
This 2008 raw Pu-erh tea was produced under the Cha Yu Hao brand by Cha Zhi Ji. It is harvested from ancient arbor trees growing naturally in the misty valleys of Wu Liang Mountain, Jingdong County, Yunnan, at elevations over 3,300 meters. The tea trees coexist with native forest species, untouched by chemical intervention, thriving in a pristine ecosystem.
Key Features:
- Thick and Mellow: Full-bodied tea liquor with a rich, sweet taste, fast salivation, and a smooth finish. The bitterness is light and well-transformed with age.
- Strong Inner Yun (韵): Deep and lasting aftertaste, layered mountain energy, and elegant aroma of high honey fragrance.
- Pure Origin: Made using traditional sun-drying and stone-pressing techniques from premium high-elevation leaves.
- Outstanding Aging: After more than a decade of natural storage, the tea expresses a soft, rounded body and intense cha qi with minimal astringency.
Best brewed with 5–8g in a gaiwan or Yixing teapot using 100°C water. A superb choice for tea collectors and connoisseurs seeking clean-aged raw Pu-erh with authentic mountain spirit.
